Holly is UHI's Executive Director. She is an attorney, who founded UHI in 2007 after volunteering in West Africa as a women's rights advocate. She has experience with various non-profit and non-governmental organizations, including: Human Rights Watch, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Children International, and Casa Cornelia Law Center. Holly earned a B.A. in International Affairs, with a concentration in Sub-Saharan Africa from George Washington University and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. Jason is UHI's Fundraising Coordinator and co-founder. He is an attorney with over 10 years of experience in the private and public sectors. He holds a B.A. in History from Gettysburg College and a J.D. from Widener University. Jason and Holly live in Buckingham Township, Pennsylvania with their daughter Sophia, son Jack, and rescued sato Pablo.
Jeremiah is UHI's Project Coordinator in Liberia. He is co-founder and Executive Director of our partner organization, the Self-Help Initiative for Sustainable Development (SHIFSD). Jeremiah holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Liberia and numerous certificates in non-profit management and economic development. Cristina is UHI’s Project Coordinator in Puerto Rico. She is the founder and Executive Director of our partner organization, Project Aleli. For over 10 years, Cristina has worked in community development and outreach in some of Puerto Rico'a poorest communities, providing services to women and children who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Cristina earned her M.S.W. from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. She lives in Rincon, where she is also an advocate for environmental conservation, surfer, and mom.
